ESTENITY offers high-quality ingredients and raw materials for cosmetics, with a large range of textures and sensorial benefits

Based in Lyon (East of France), ESTENITY is affiliated to the Japanese company KOKYU ALCOHOL KOGYO CO., LTD. (Higher Alcohol Industries in Japanese), which manufactures and commercializes since 1952 high-quality raw materials and high-technology ingredients for the cosmetic industry.

A high quality objective in respect of the environment

Our ingredients, partly from vegetable origin, are selected with care and then highly purified and stabilized in order to obtain high-quality products.

ESTENITY offers tailor-made products and innovative formulations to answer cosmetic industry needs and high standards of quality, environmental and ethical management.

Formulation laboratory

Technical support, innovation, project support

Estenity opened in 2010 a new formulation laboratory dedicated to providing expert technical support to European customers in close collaboration with KOKYU ALCOHOL KOGYO CO., LTD. R&D team based in Japan.

Attentive to new trends, our laboratory develops innovative and original formulations using our best ingredients; one of which, the "Crystal clear lip cleansing stick", was awarded the first prize during the 2018 edition of COSMETAGORA’s formulation competition.

And since creation is also our vocation, our laboratory actively supports our customers’ projects by providing them with new ideas and technical solutions for unique formulations.

Regulations

European legislation on chemicals

ESTENITY is in charge of helping its suppliers and customers comply with the European regulation on chemicals, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) entered into force on June 1^st, 2007 (2006/1907/EC).

The objective of this regulation is mainly to improve protection of human health and environment as well as enhance the competitiveness of the chemical industry by encouraging innovation.

ESTENITY is the only representative of KOKYU ALCOHOL KOGYO CO., LTD. to fulfill the REACH obligations of EU importers. ESTENITY registers all necessary substances. We registered our products successfully and we are watching the course of this regulation closely.
